Mulier quid ploras ad monumentum.

Dominum meum tulerunt, et nescio ubi posuerunt eum,
dicito mihi, dicito meo si vos sustilistis et ego cum tollam.

Noli flere Maria. Surrexit, surrexit non est hic,
in Galileam sicut dixit ibi eum videbis, alleluia.

O Domine, o Magister, o Salvator, heu me misera.

Congratulamini mihi omnes, quia quem quaerebam apparuit mihi,
Alleluia.

Woman, why are you weeping by the sepulchre?
They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. If you have taken him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.
Do not weep, Mary: he is risen, he is not here: he has gone to Galilee, as he foretold, and you will see him there: alleluia.
O Lord, Master, Saviour, alas: show me your compassion.
Rejoice with me, all of you, for the one that I was seeking has appeared to me: alleluia.
