Biography

Nikolaus Ludwig, Reichsgraf von Zinzendorf und Pottendorf, was a German religious and social reformer, bishop of the Moravian Church and founder of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeinde. Several of his hymns were translated into English by John Wesley, including Eternal depth of love divine and Jesu, thy blood and righteousness.
