Latin text O Domine Jesu Christe, adoro te in cruce vulneratum felle et aceto potatum: deprecor te ut tua vulnera sint remedium animae meae. †Alternative last line morsque tua sit vita mea.

English translation Lord Jesus Christ, I worship you, who was wounded on the cross and given gall and vinegar to drink: I pray that your wounds may be a remedy for my soul. Alternative last line and your death may give me life.

Italian translation O Signore Gesù Cristo, ti adoro ferito in croce, abbeverato di fiele e aceto. Ti prego affinchè le tue piaghe e la tua morte siano la mia vita.
