Description: Melody by Amos Pilsbury, 1799; considerably revised by James P. Carrell in 1821. Words by Charles Wesley, 1759, with eight stanzas. A further revised version of this appears as Child of Grace in The Sacred Harp, p. 77 from 1844 to the present.
