Sei Lob und Preis mit Ehren
Gott Vater, Sohn und Heil’gem Geist,
der woll in uns vermehren,
was er aus Gnaden uns verheißt,
dass wir ihm fest vertrauen,
gänzlich verlass’n auf ihn,
vom Herzen auf ihn bauen,
dass uns’r Herz, Mut und Sinn
ihm tröstlich soll’n anhangen,
drauf singen wir zur Stund:
Amen, wir werd’ns erlangen,
gläub’n wir aus Herzensgrund.
Dutch translation
Lof, prijs en eer zij God,
Vader, Zoon en heilige Geest!
Moge hij in ons doen toenemen
wat hij ons uit genade belooft,
opdat wij vast op Hem vertrouwen,
ons geheel op Hem verlaten,
van harte op Hem bouwen,
opdat wij ons met hart en ziel
aan Hem vasthouden;
Daarom zingen wij nu:
Amen, we zullen het verkrijgen
