2. Jesus brought concern for people, | |||
ailing, anguished, trodden, crushed, | |||
and to their surprise and wonder | |||
often left them healed and hushed -- | |||
3. Healed of wounds and soul-abrasions | |||
where uncaring feet had trod; | |||
hushed to savor and consider, | |||
inwardly, the Gift of God. | |||

seed form God until it roots,
welcoming, beneath the surface,
life to fill the rising shoots.
2. Jesus brought concern for people,
