After creating a composer page for Michael Maybrick I noticed that he already had a page under his pseudonym. Which form should be the canonical? —Carlos Email.gif 16:04, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Generally a tough question, although I would think that perhaps the pseudonym would prevail in some cases, especially those where the pseudonym predominates. How many people would recognize Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (better known as the Lewis Carroll)? – or, more germaine to choral music, Philip Arnold Heseltine (better known as the author composer Peter Warlock)? I think that a redirect from Maybrick to Adams might be the approriate solution here. – Chucktalk Giffen 15:06, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
