<poem> Refr. Tula, tula, tulavall, långt bort i skogen.
1. Tula, tula, tula vall! Långa sommardagen. Brödet hårt och gröten kall, stigen brant i hagen. Tula vall i ur och skur, kärr och snår med varg på lur i alla dungar. hu' när åskan ljungar.
2. Tula vall med ko och stut bortåt långa hage; Kål fick jag när jag gick ut, kål fick jag i påse. Kärnemjölken sur och tunn, smör kom aldrig än i mun. Ost och pannekaka fick jag aldrig smaka.
3. Tula vall i mark och skog, vackra sommar dagar. Sorgen vek, när solen log över gröna hagen. Granen doftar, göken gal, hi och ho för björk och al, svalt i skogens gömma, mjukt i mossan drömma.
4. Tula vall i hopp och språng utför berg och branter, humlesurr och fågel sång längs åt alla kanter. Tula vall för hu och hej. Dura duri dallan dej. Här är himla pellen uti sommar kvällen.
