Benche dal fier martire
senta l'anima uscire,
dolce signor non chieggo altro conforto,
chesser tuo vivo e morto,
che l'esser tuo fa dolce ogni tormento,
pero si sprona e stringe il mio cor lento,
ch'ogn'hor con tutt'i senti esser tuo brani,
e in altro mai non pensi.
