Description: Originally published with four-shape notes, for three voices in 1832; an Alto part was added in 1869, and Funk's seven-shape notation replaced the four. Words by John Newton, 1779, Olney Hymns, Hymn 25 of Book 1, with eight stanzas. Funk used stanzas 1–4 and 8 in his composition.
