General information

Gradual for feasts of the SS. Peter & Paul and St Peter’s chains, also sometimes found in the Common of Saints: the Alleluia verse following Nunes Garcia's setting is one assigned in the Liber Usualis to Bartholomew the Apostle.
Source of text is Psalm 44:17-18 (Vulgate)

44:18a  Memores erunt nominis tui, Domine.

Versus
44:17a  Pro patribus tuis nati sunt tibi filii;
44:18b  propterea populi confitebuntur tibi.

[Alleluia; Te gloriosus Apostolorum chorus laudat Domine.]
