David Scheidemann

Biography

David Scheidemann was organist in Wöhrden, Schleswig-Holstein and, from 1604 at St. Catherine's Church, Hamburg. He was the father of the much more famous organist Heinrich Scheidemann, and probably gave him his first organ lessons.
