Latin text Domine Deus omnipotens Pater, ne permittas nos perire quia tuae creaturae sumus, sed concedas nobis spatium paenitendi. Ut ante diem exitus nostri per veram paenitentiam tibi placere valeamus, et ad caelestem patriam pervenire valeamus per Iesum Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.

English translation Lord God, omnipotent Father, because we are your creation, do not let us die, but allow us time for penitence. So that before the day of our death through true penitence we may be able to please you and we may be able to come to the heavenly home through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
