Description: Christ-tide motet. A very early allusion (?the earliest) to the shepherds' piffaro/pastorale style which became ubiquitous in the eighteenth century. This work is a contrafact of 'Dolor, tant'è la gioia che mi dai' from Il quinto libro de madrigali a cinque voci (1585).
