Spanish text Entre dos mansos arroyos que de blanca nieve el sol, a ruego de un verde valle, en agua los transformó, Como no saben de celos ni de pasiones de amor, ríense los arroyuelos, de ver cómo lloro yo.

English translation Between two tranquil streams, into which the sun, as asked by a green valley, has turned the white snow, as the little streams know naught of jealousy or of love's passions, they bubble with laughter to see how I weep. Translation by Mick Swithinbank
