Herr Christ, der ein'ge Gottessohn, Vater in Ewigkeit,
aus seinem Herz'n entsprossen, gleich wie geschrieben steht.
Es ist der Morgensterne, sein' Glanz streckt er so ferne,
für andern Sternen klar.
