Iai par trop longuement ayme,
ie scay bien a quoi me tenir,
ie suis et veulx estre blasme,
cest le gain qui me doit venir,
las, quant ce vient au souvenir
en pensant ou iay mis le temps,
ie puis bien dire sans_faillir:
pardonnes moy, ie me repens.

Ayant trop longuement aimé,
je sais bien à quoi m'en tenir.
Je suis et je veux être blâmé,
c'est le gain qui me doit venir
quand le souvenir me revient.
En pensant où j'ai mis le temps
je peux dire sans me tromper:
