German text 28  Kommet her zu mir alle, die ihr mühselig und beladen seid, ich will euch erquicken. 29  Nehmet auf euch mein Joch und lernt von mir. Denn ich bin sanftmütig und von Herzen demütig, so werdet ihr Ruhe finden für eure Seelen. 30  Denn mein Joch ist sanft und meine Last ist leicht.

English translation 28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (KJV)
