Biography

Louis Bergé was a German-born American professor, pianist, organist, composer, and a piano and music dealer. He founded The Bergé Music Company, which produced many works composed by himself and his son, William E. Bergé (b. 1886). He also compiled several hymnals around the turn of the 20th century.

He died in 1914.
