Description: Votive Lady Mass for Saturday, to have been sung in the Lower Chapel of St Stephen's Westminster up until the late 1530s. The singing men of St Stephen's would have been organised, and possibly included, Ludford, who was 'verger' and responsible for overseeing the nuts and bolts of daily worship. The Mass is for 3 voices, Treble (S), Mean (Alto), and Contratenor (Tenor), except the Sequentia which is scored for ATB, adding a Bassus (Bass) voice.
