Since none of the music in this book is attributed, and William Smith is the sole author of the book, it is possible that William Smith was the composer. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, paraphrase of Psalm 147, Part 3, with eight stanzas. Smith used the first two stanzas of Watts' paraphrase in his composition.
