Description: For Sundays at Compline, and the Canticle of Simeon. Luke 2:29-32. Simeon, who has been told by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before seeing the Lord's Christ, is in the temple when Jesus is brought in for the presentation. He takes the baby in his arms, blesses God and speaks these words.
