English text
Behold God's works in various ways,
Which men and angels blush to see,
Now adoration moves my tongue,
May every noble soul agree.
To bless the God who deigned to speak
Both man and worlds from chaos gloom,
Resigned to man a god-like part,
The glorious faith of worlds to come.
