Description: Music composed by Giovanni Croce in Li sette sonetti penitenziali a sei voci (1596), lyrics by Francesco Bembo. Translation (paraphrase) of original Italian into Latin attributed to Johann Ingolstetter. There is also an edition in English, Musica Sacra to Six Voices (1608).
