General Information
Title: Tribulatio et angustia
Composer: Adrianus Petit Coclico
Lyricist:
Number of voices: 4vv Voicing: SATB
Genre: Sacred, Motet
Language: Latin
Instruments: A cappella
First published: 1552 in Musica reservata, no. 38
Description: Congruence signs in three of the parts are presumably intended to indicate a repeat of the final section. Unusually, the motet starts without a key signature (and initially, indeed, no flats are called for) but introduces a one-flat signature before long.
