Uns ist ein Kind geboren,
des freun wir uns zu hören,
sonst wärn wir all verloren,
ja ewiglich gestorben.

Unser Natur wird neue,
dass Gott ist so getreue
dass er uns seinen Sohn gibt,
der unser Fleisch an sich nimmt.

Lob sei ins Himmels Throne
dem Vater and dem Sohne,
sein Geist sei bei uns allen
mit Fried und Wohlgefallen.
