In this setting the polyphonic parts are largely in a Falsibordone style though the "agnus redemit oves" and "Credendum est magis" parts begin as a S-B duetto. The stantsas set polyphonicaly include the "Credendum est magis" stanza wihch was excluded from liturgical use in the Tridentine Liturgical reform and thus not included in Roman Misales and Breviers from the 1570 Missale Romanum onwards. The manuscript source does not include the odd verses to be sung in chant.
