Zolgotz! Mean man!
He shot McKinley with a handkerchief over his hand
 In Buffalo.
Zolgotz, he done him wrong!
He shot McKinley while a he was walkin' along
 In Buffalo.

The pistol fired then McKinley fall!
The doctor says "McKinley, can't find the lead ball!"
You’re gonna die
 In Buffalo

Hear the train comin’ down the track.
Took him to Buffalo but couldn’t bring him back.
Forty-four boxes trimm’d in braid,
Sixteen wheel driver, boys, couldn’t make the grade!
Forty-four boxes trimm'd in lace,
Take him back to the baggage, boys, where we can't see his face!
