In some cases it is pretty clear where content should go. It seems reasonable that "Works" pages will be on this site. However, with respect to other page types, the answer seems less clear-cut. For example, it seems reasonable to assume at some point that someone might consider adding an entity page for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, especially as there is already an individual page for one of the early directors, [[Evan_Stephens]]. But Stephens is a character of sufficient significance that there is an article with more detail on him on Big Wiki, and there is a significant page on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir there, too. This seems to warrant consideration of the question of how much duplication of effort there should be between CPDL, and other sources. On the one hand, there is the advantage of having multiple editors, and more input than we would have from within the CPDL community, on the other hand, the Stephens page, which contains information we might not necessarily want on CPDL, shows that there are consequences from giving up too much control. Isn't the Evan_Stevens link above point to a "Composer Page" due to the one score listed there ?  What makes it an "Entity" page.

Wouldn't we need a page for Evan_Stevens, quite apart from his historical position of Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ?

Here, or there?

In some cases it is pretty clear where content should go. It seems reasonable that "Works" pages will be on this site. However, with respect to other page types, the answer seems less clear-cut. For example, it seems reasonable to assume at some point that someone might consider adding an entity page for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, especially as there is already an individual page for one of the early directors, Evan_Stephens. Doesn't the Evan_Stevens link above point to a "Composer Page" due to the one score listed there ? What makes it an "Entity" page. Wouldn't we need a page for Evan_Stevens, quite apart from his historical position of Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ? Johnhenryfowler 17:15, 31 October 2007 (PDT)
