English text
As it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,
came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre where the Lord lay.
The angel of the Lord descended from heav’n, and said:
Fear not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus. He is not here, for He is risen.
Hallelujah!
Amen!
Sing unto God, O ye kingdoms of the earth!
Hallelujah!
Amen!
By Thy glorious resurrection, Good Lord, deliver us.
Hallelujah!
Amen.
