Beati estis
cum maledixerint vobis
et persecuti vos fuerint
et dixerint omne malum adversum
vos mentientes propter me.
Gaudete et exultate
quoniam merces vestra
copiosa est in caelis.
Alleluia.

English.png English translation

Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you,
and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great.
When men shall hate you and when they separate you from themselves,
and shall reproach you, and shall cast out your name as evil,
for the sake of the Son of man, Rejoice!
Alleluia.

Matthew, 5:11-12.
