Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; He hath visited and redeemed his people.
And hath raised up a mighty salvation in the house of His servant David.
Hark! the herald angels sing
Glory to the new-born King.
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled.
Hail, the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail, the Sun of righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings.
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
And His Name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
