The feast in Dedicatione Archibasilicae SS Salvatoris was instituted by Benedict XIII after restoration work on Rome's cathedral in 1726. Since renamed the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, it is still observed on November 9. The pre-1970 propers are identical to those for the Dedication of a Church.
