Domenica XII post Pentecosten or the Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost corresponds to the Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel of the good Samaritan (Luke 10:23-) giving way in the three-year lectionary to the miracle of the loaves (Matt. 14:13-21), the bread of life (John 6:24-35) and the warning against greed (Luke 12:13-21).
