Text and translations

Alleluia.

Secunda pars
Dicant nunc Iudaei quomodo milites custodientes sepulcrum perdiderunt Regem.
Aut sepultum reddant, aut resurgentem adorent, nobiscum dicentes:
Alleluia.

English.png English translation

6:9  Christ, rising again from the dead, dieth now no more. Death shall no more have dominion over him.
6:10  For in that he died to sin, he died once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Alleluia.
4:25  He died for our sins and rose again for our justification,
who liveth unto God.
Alleluia.

Secunda pars
Let the Jews now say how it was that the soldiers guarding the sepulchre lost the King.
Why did they not guard the tomb, which was sealed with a stone?
Let them either return his buried body, or with us worship him risen, saying:
Alleluia.
