English.png English translation

Triumphant cross, jewel of the mighty,
cross by Christ made holy and beloved,
our deliverance and longing,
our hope and tree of strength
with Jesus' blood imbued and adorned,
cross shining in a fountain of light,
we worship you, we grievous sinners,
that our life may be pleasing to you.

Jesus! name worthy of triumph,
Jesus! name exceeding all,
Jesus! above all, there is none such,
Jesus! the only hope of all,
to you I confess my sins
piously crying for mercy.
You are Jesus, peace and protection,
I am unworthy, yet I come to you,
that you might take me to your glory.
Amen.
