Description: First published in Pilsbury's The United States Sacred Harmony, 1799, p. 164. Words by Thomas Norton, 1562, Old Version paraphrase of Psalm 111, with seven stanzas; revised by an unknown author before 1780. Pilsbury used the sixth stanza of Norton's paraphrase (as revised) in his composition.
