Biography
Don Diego Pontac was a priest and choirmaster of the Cathedral of Granada until 1644 when he was promoted to be Master of the metropolitan church of Santiago de Galicia. In 1649 he was appointed choirmaster at the Cathedral of Zaragoza until his death. Only a few works of this composer survive in the archives of La Real Capilla de Madrid and the Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
