Latin text Domine, Deus meus, ne, quaeso, intres in iudicium cum servo[puero] tuo. Delicta iuventutis meae et ignorantias meas ne memineris unquam neve in finem iratus mea mala reservas. Noli me projicere a facie tua in tempore senectutis. Et cum defecerit virtus mea, ne derelinquas me. [usque] in senectam et senium: ne declines a servo tuo, sed in pace recipe animam meam, et misericordias tuas in aeternum cantabo, Domine, Deus meus.

German translation Herr, mein Gott, geh, bitte ich, nicht ins Gericht mit deinem Knecht. An die Vergehen meiner Jugend und meine Unerfahrenheiten denke nie mehr und spare nicht bis ans Ende erzürnt meine Bosheiten auf. Verwirf mich nicht vor deinem Angesicht in der Zeit des Greisenalters. Und wenn meine Kraft nachläßt, verlaß mich nicht bis ins Alter und die Betagtheit: wende dich nicht ab von deinem Knecht, sondern nimm in Frieden meine Seele auf und dein Erbarmen werde ich auf ewig singen, Herr, mein Gott.

English translation O Lord, O my God, do not, I pray, enter into judgment with thy servant[son]. Do not ever remember the sins of my youth and my ignorances nor keep my misdeeds within thine anger. Cast me not away from thy face in the time of my old age. And when my strength shall fail, forsake me not [Even] in my old age and decay, turn thou not aside from thy servant, but in peace take my soul, and I will ever sing thy mercies, O Lord, my God.
