Latin.png Latin text

Dulcissime et benignissime Christe,
infunde, obsecro, multitudinem dulcedinis tuae
et charitatis tuae pectori meo,
ut nihil terrenum,
nihil carnale desiderem vel cogitem
sed te solum amem, te solum habeam
in ore et in corde meo.

English.png English translation

O most sweet and loving Christ,
pour, I beseech you, your great sweetness
and love into my heart,
so that nothing earthly,
and nothing of the flesh do I desire or think,
but that I love only you, and have only you
in my mouth and in my heart.

Translation by James Gibb
