Description: First published in 1774 with words from Isaac Watts, 1709, from Hymn 63 of Book 2, "Hark from the tombs a doleful sound." Slightly amended by Billings in 1778 with different words by Isaac Watts, 1709, paraphrase of Psalm 32, "When I my inward guilt suppressed." In both cases, Billings used two of Watts' stanzas.
