Description: A setting of three verses from Psalm 1 in the metrical New Version. Part allocations are given in the source (Swaffield's Twenty Five Original Melodies) as Soprano - Alto - Tenore - Basso - Organo, with the alto part originally notated in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch. The text of the first verse only is underlaid in the source, with the other two verses printed after the music.
