English text PSALM 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heav'n and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved. He that keepeth thee will not slumber, neither slumber, nor sleep. He that keepeth Israel will neither slumber, nor sleep. Amen

Icelandic translation DAVÍÐSSÁLMUR 121 Ég vil hefja upp augu mín til hæða því þaðan kemur mér hjálp. Til þín leita ég um hjálp, því þú skapaðir himinn og jörð. Hann mun þig annast að fótur ei skriði. Hann sem gætir þín blundar eigi, sefur eigi, gætir þin. Han sem gæta Ísraels, hann blundar eigi, gætir þín. Amen
