Aux innocentz c'est bonne occasion
Et n'est mal faict s'un tetin on manie,
C'est qui plus est saincte religion
Sainctz, innocentz plains de devotion
Bien hereticque est qui point ne vous feste
Mais qui ce jour feroit l'ascension
Plus sollempnel encor feroit la feste.

Saints Innocents pleins de dévotion
Bien hérétique est qui point ne vous fête.
Mais qui ce jour ferait l'Ascension,
Plus solennelle encor' serait la fête.

It is acceptable to have your lover in your bed;
On Innocents' Day it is a a happy event.
It isn't evil to fondle a nipple,
But rather an holy religion.
It is positively heretical not to celebrate
Holy Innocents, fully devoutly.
And if anyone,on this day, should perform "The Ascension",
Then the red-letter day will be even more awe-inspiring.
