Composer: Mostly Jacques Arcadelt. Several works by Costanzo Festa included.
Description: Several pieces are set for all-male voices. Various other editions dropped and added several works. The attribution for no. 13 was at various times given to Arcadelt, Festa, and Alfoso della Viola. Festa seems to be accepted. 18 has also been attributed to Arcadelt. 20, 28, and 29 have also been attributed to Festa. 22, 39, and 44 have also been attributed to Francesco Corteccia. 42 has also been attributed to Jacquet de Berchem. Composers actually listed are generally thought to be correct.
