CCXXXII Christ's Sheep given by the Father and guarded by Omnipotence John x 29 30
In one harmonious cheerful song, Ye happy saints, combine; Loud let it sound from ev'ry tongue, The Saviour is divine
The least, the feeblest of the sheep To him the father gave; Kind is his heart the charge to keep, And strong his arm to save
In Christ the almighty Father dwells, And Christ and he are one; The rebel power, which Christ assails, Attacks the eternal throne.
That hand which heaven and earth sustains, And bars the gates of hell, And rivets Satan down in chains, Shall guard his chosen well.
Now let the infernal lion roar, How vain his threats appear! When he can match Jehovah's power, I will begin to fear.
