Life

Born: c. 1495, Pinguente, Istria

Died: after 1560, Lyons

Biography Jacques Moderne was a printer, based in Lyons from the 1520s until his death. His books of music were printed from 1532 onward, following and rivalling those of Pierre Attaingnant in Paris.
