Born: 21 October 1892

Died: 25 November 1964

Biography Jan Šoupal was a Czech choirmaster, conductor, pedagogue and composer. He is notable particularly as arranger of folk songs for male and mixed choirs. Several musical schools are named in his honor in Moravia. He was an excellent organist and pianist, too.
