Aliases: Jean le Brung; Jean Le Brun – Not to be confused with Jean Lebrun (or Braun), 1759–1809


Born: fl. early 16th century


Biography Although Lebrun is said to have sung bass in the chapel of Louis XII of France (reigned 1498–1515), he does not appear in documents covering the years 1510–14. Some 15 works were printed in anthologies between 1519 and 1549.
