Description: A folk hymn (Jackson 1953b, No. 132), with resemblances to several English folk songs. Tune originally called Communion in Wyeth's Repository of Sacred Music, 1810, for three parts, in 3:4 time. This version is a revision for four parts from Freeman Lewis' Beauties of Harmony, 1814. It also appears in Kentucky Harmony of 1816, Moore's Columbian Harmony of 1825, Compilation of Genuine Church Music of 1835, and The Hesperian Harp of 1848.
